The All-Wise Lord: The Lesson Hidden Beneath the Surface
Subtitle: Wisdom, Awakening, and Building Patience
Introduction
In the journey of life, humans often encounter situations that look nothing like their expectations. What appears to be a loss or a disaster may, in reality, be a step of mercy that Allah is preparing for them. Allah is the All-Wise, and nothing He decrees comes without profound wisdom.
A Story with a Lesson
Once, a wealthy man went on a sea cruise with his friends. Suddenly, the ocean turned wild, the waves rose high, and the ship capsized, drowning all his friends. He alone survived and found himself stranded on an island. In grief and despair, he built a small hut to shelter himself.
One cold night, his hut caught fire. He woke up in pain and sorrow, crying bitterly:
“Why would Allah do this to me? I’ve lost everything—my family, my friends, and now even the only shelter I had!”
But at daybreak, a large ship approached the island. When they reached him, the captain said:
“We saw the smoke rising from a fire and realized someone must be calling for help. That’s why we changed course to rescue you.”
At that moment, he realized that what he thought was a disaster—the burning of his hut—was in fact the cause of his rescue. He wept, repented, and thanked Allah before being taken home to reunite with his family.
The Lesson and Reminder
Life teaches us that not everything that happens to us is evil, and not everything we perceive as misfortune truly is. Allah’s wisdom is hidden in the very events we label as calamities. If we hold onto patience and trust in Him, we will eventually discover that His plan is always far better than any plan we could make for ourselves.
Personal Reflection
“When you lose something you hold onto, it may be because Allah is opening the door to something far greater.” – Masibwrites
I’ve observed that many people rush to blame Allah whenever calamity strikes. Yet, with time, they often realize that the trial was the very path to their progress or survival. The wise are those who recognize this early, surrender to Allah’s wisdom, and show gratitude instead of complaint.
Conclusion
We must train our hearts in patience and gratitude in all circumstances. We may not know the future of things, but we do know this: Allah is All-Wise. Remember: what you call the end of your chances may, in fact, be the beginning of your rescue and blessings.
Final Reflection
Ask yourself today: Do you see Allah’s wisdom in your challenges, or are you quick to blame Him?
